The app to run your bookkeeping business: client work, billing and your own books

A bookkeeping business has a rhythm. Every month, each client's receipts and bank lines need posting by a set day. Once a year, the accounts and tax work pile up. In between come calls with new owners who want to know your fees. The books you keep for clients live in their own software. Running your firm (who's due, who's paid, who's doing what) usually lives in a spreadsheet.

On Essential or Business · no card needed

AQUORIA O.N.E runs that side. The Bookkeeping setup starts you with monthly bookkeeping at S$250 due in 30 days, year-end accounts priced on quote, and a free 45-minute consultation call.

The monthly cycle, client by client

At the start of each month, add each client's monthly bookkeeping job from their page, at their own rate: S$250 for a café with 80 transactions, S$480 for a trading company with three bank accounts. Each job carries its due date and, on Business, the person doing it. Today shows what's due today and tomorrow, and what's running late. The monthly jobs aren't made for you; adding them is a short routine.

Year-end work, priced on quote

Year-end accounts, GST return preparation or a catch-up on two years of missing records are priced job by job. Choose the service, type the fee you agreed, and set the due date well before the client's filing deadline. Take part of the fee upfront as a part payment, and the A4 invoice shows the balance.

Billing clients the way firms do

Put company clients on a business account with payment terms of 14 or 30 days, a credit limit and their own prices. Each month's work goes on one statement with the opening balance, charges, payments and closing balance. Record a payment against the statement and it pays off the oldest jobs first.

  • Numbered A4 invoices, printed as tax invoices if you're GST-registered
  • A PayNow QR for the exact amount on every invoice
  • Money owed by age: up to 30 days, 31–60 and over 60
  • The invoice list as a CSV for your own year-end

Your own firm's books and payroll

On Business, the firm's accounting sits beside the client work: bills to pay, bank matching from your bank's CSV statement, a simple balance sheet and a year-end pack. Payroll works out CPF, the Skills Development Levy and self-help group funds for your team, prints payslips and gives you the totals to key into CPF EZPay. Leave and clock-in sit in HR.

When clients use AQUORIA O.N.E too

Some clients may run their own business on AQUORIA O.N.E. They can export their sales in a file common accounting software imports. On Business, they can also download a year-end pack for you: one spreadsheet with profit by month, sales, expenses, bills, payroll, tax by quarter, money owed and stock value.

How it works

Questions

How does a bookkeeper charge?

Many charge a fixed monthly fee based on how many transactions and bank accounts a client has, with year-end accounts and catch-up work priced separately. Some charge by the hour. AQUORIA O.N.E handles all three: a monthly service at each client's own price, services priced on quote, and hourly services clients can book.

Is there bookkeeping software with payroll?

AQUORIA O.N.E has both on Business, for your own firm: bills, bank matching, a balance sheet and a year-end pack, plus monthly payroll with CPF, the Skills Development Levy and self-help group funds worked out. It isn't built to keep many clients' ledgers inside one account, so your clients' books stay in their own software.

What is bookkeeping software?

It records what a business sells, spends and owes, and matches it to the bank, so accounts and tax returns can be prepared. In AQUORIA O.N.E those records come from the work itself: jobs, invoices, payments and expenses. Business adds bills to pay and bank matching from a CSV statement. There's no live bank feed.

Can owners book a consultation with my firm online?

Yes. Your link has a Book a call page with the free 45-minute consultation ready to use. Owners pick a time within your working hours and confirm with their phone number, and the meeting shows on your calendar. Meet at your office, at theirs or on the phone, and their jobs start from the same client page.

Does it sync with my accounting software?

There's no live sync. Invoices download as a CSV, and sales can be exported in an import format that common accounting software accepts, so your own books can stay elsewhere if you prefer. Bank matching works from your bank's CSV statement rather than a live bank feed.
