Hair salon appointment software for stylists, barbers and walk-ins

Hair salon appointment software has to handle two kinds of client at once. Booked clients arrive for a two-hour colour or a 30-minute cut, and walk-ins come in off the street for a quick trim. A barber in Tiong Bahru or a salon under a Bishan HDB block sees both every Saturday, often with one person at the front and the phone ringing.

On Essential or Business · no card needed

AQUORIA O.N.E puts bookings and walk-ins in one place. Clients book a service and a stylist online, walk-ins are rung up at the counter in seconds, and colour notes, tips and reports follow every visit.

What makes a salon day run late

Colour is booked as a cut and overruns by 90 minutes. Two clients book the same stylist at 3pm through two different chats. A regular who comes every five weeks hasn't been back in three months, and nobody noticed. The formula from last time is on a card that's gone missing. And at month end, you're adding up tips by hand.

  • Long services booked into short slots
  • Double bookings across phone and chat
  • Regulars drifting away unnoticed
  • Colour formulas and tips on scraps of paper

Bookings by service and by stylist

Pick Hair & barber and you start with a haircut at S$25 for 30 minutes, a wash and blow-dry at S$35 for 45 minutes, hair colour at S$120 for 2 hours and a kids' haircut at S$18 for 20 minutes. Each booking takes the time its service needs, so a colour can't be squeezed into a cut's slot.

On Business, every stylist or barber has their own working hours, and a service can be limited to the people who do it, such as colour with your senior stylist only. Clients choose who they want or pick Anyone, and only see times when that person is free.

Walk-ins and the counter

A walk-in needs no booking: tap the service on the counter screen, take cash or show the PayNow QR, and the sale is recorded. No name or number is needed for a quick cut, or add the client's phone to keep their history. Sell wax, shampoo and combs from the same screen with stock counted, so you know when to reorder.

Notes, tips and bringing clients back

Private notes on each client hold the colour formula, the clipper guard or how they like their fringe. After the visit, a review request goes out by your own SMS or email account once connected, and tips can be offered with the bill and after a good review, kept apart from your sales and shown by team member.

The customer list shows who hasn't been back in 60 days, and reports show your busiest times, revenue by service and no-shows. On Business, staff clock in and get payslips with CPF.

How it works

  1. 1Pick Hair & barber and set each service's price and length.
  2. 2Add your stylists' hours on Business, or your own hours on Essential.
  3. 3Share your booking link and ring up walk-ins at the counter in the same app.

Questions

What is the difference between a hair stylist and a barber, for bookings?

Barbers usually focus on short cuts, fades and shaves, often with many walk-ins. Stylists do longer cuts, colour and styling, mostly by appointment. AQUORIA O.N.E handles both: bookings that take each service's own length, and walk-ins rung up on the counter screen, all in the same day's list and reports.

How do I start a barber business?

Work out your services, prices and hours, find a spot and check the rules for your premises, then decide how clients will book and pay. In AQUORIA O.N.E, pick Hair & barber, edit the sample cuts, add your PayNow details and share your booking link. You can take walk-ins from day one and add barbers on Business later.

What should booking systems for salons do?

Show clients real free times for the service they want, stop double bookings, take deposits where you need them and keep their history. AQUORIA O.N.E does all of that, adds walk-in sales, tips and client notes, and keeps reports on your busiest times and no-shows.

Can clients choose their stylist when they book?

Yes, on Business, where each stylist has a login and their own hours. Clients pick a stylist or Anyone, and see only times when someone who does that service is free. On Essential, which is for one person, the booking page uses your own hours, which suits a solo barber or a one-chair salon.

Is there a salon software app with a free trial?

Yes: 14 days free, and no card is needed to start. Then Essential is S$29 a month for a one-chair salon or a solo barber, and Business is S$149 a month for a team, with up to 10 logins, payroll with CPF and up to 3 locations. Bookings and sales are unlimited on both.

Try it free for 14 days, then S$29 a month (Essential) or S$149 a month (Business). No card needed.
