Each project as a job with its payments
When the couple signs off, create the renovation job with the agreed price and record the first payment and each one after it, by PayNow, bank transfer or card online. The job always shows what's paid and what's left, and an A4 invoice with your running number and pay-by date is ready when you need it. The app has no separate deposit or progress-claim feature: each payment is simply recorded on the job. With your own SMS or email account connected, the homeowner gets a message when work starts, with the date you expect to finish, and another when the job is done.
Trades and subcontractors by private link
Send part of the job to an electrician, plumber or carpenter with a brief, a due date and the agreed price. They open it by a private link without an account, accept, and mark it done with their invoice. Their price becomes a bill to pay, the job shows your margin, and your customer never sees their details. Note each trade's licence or papers with an expiry date, and you're warned 30 days before it runs out.
