A clothing alteration app that keeps every hem, zip and ready date in one place

An alteration counter at a heartland mall is never quiet. One customer drops off two pairs of work trousers for hemming, another wants a dress taken in before a wedding on Saturday, and a third sends a WhatsApp photo of a jacket with a broken zip asking 'how much?'. Most shops still write a paper slip, tear off the stub and hope it comes back.

On Essential or Business · no card needed

AQUORIA O.N.E is a clothing alteration app, and all-in-one business management, that turns that counter into a simple order screen on your phone, tablet or computer. Every piece gets an order with its price, notes and ready date, the customer gets a link to track it, and you can see at a glance what's due today and what's still waiting to be collected.

Where the day goes wrong at an alteration counter

The sewing is rarely the problem. It's the admin around it that eats the afternoon.

  • Lost stubs: the customer can't find the slip, and you're searching a rack of 60 bags for 'a black dress, maybe Tuesday'.
  • Rush jobs promised on the spot, then forgotten when three more come in after lunch.
  • Pieces finished weeks ago still hanging, because nobody reminded the customer to collect.
  • Prices worked out in your head, so the same hem costs S$10 one day and S$14 the next.
  • Balances owed on collection, written in a notebook only you can read.

Every piece on its own order, with a ready date

Your catalogue starts with the jobs most alteration shops do, ready to edit: Trouser hemming at S$12 (ready in 3 days), Take in / let out at S$18 (4 days) and Zip replacement at S$15 (3 days). Add your own, such as Shorten sleeves or Replace lining, with your price and how many days each takes.

At the counter, look the customer up by phone number, tap the items and add a note on each line, like 'navy blazer, take in 2 cm at the waist' or 'jeans, keep the original hem'. The order works out its ready date from the slowest item. Need it sooner? Tick Express: your surcharge is added (it starts at 50% and you can change it) and the ready date comes forward to half the time.

Customers know where their clothes are

Every order has its own page with the order number, the items and the ready date. From the order screen, tap WhatsApp and your phone opens WhatsApp with the link and a message already written, or connect your own SMS or email account in Settings and the app sends it for you. Tap Start processing when you begin and Mark ready when it's done: the customer's link shows it's ready for collection with any balance to pay, and with SMS or email connected they get a message too. Today lists what's due, what's late and what's been uncollected for too long, so a finished wedding dress never sits for a month.

Collection is quick. The balance shows on the order, and the hand-over is held until it's paid. Take cash, show your PayNow QR with the amount and order number filled in, or let them pay by card online once you've opened a payment account. Every job gets a receipt, and an A4 invoice is there for the office that sends its uniforms.

Measurements and notes kept for regulars

Alteration shops get the tailoring setup, so each customer's page has a Measurements box (chest, waist, sleeve, inseam) that also shows on their orders. Add private notes only your team sees, such as 'prefers a hand-stitched hem'. Next time Mrs Tan from Block 456 brings in her son's school trousers, the numbers are already there.

Plans and price

Most alteration shops run on Essential: the counter, orders, customer app, payments, receipts, invoices and reports, with the owner's own login. If your seamstresses need their own logins, or you open a second outlet, Business adds staff accounts with roles, up to 3 locations, and HR and payroll with CPF. Try it free for 14 days, then S$29 a month (Essential) or S$149 a month (Business). No card needed.

How it works

  1. 1Sign up and pick Alterations & repairs: hemming, take in / let out and zip replacement arrive with prices and days.
  2. 2Set your own prices, the express surcharge and your opening hours, then switch on the customer app.
  3. 3Take the first order at the counter: phone number, items, a note per piece and the ready date.
  4. 4Mark it ready when it's done; the customer sees it on their link, pays and collects.

Questions

How much does it cost to get clothes altered in Singapore?

Every shop sets its own prices. The starter list in AQUORIA O.N.E uses S$12 for trouser hemming, S$18 to take in or let out and S$15 for a zip, which you change to your own before you open. Your price list then shows on your customer link, so people see the price before they walk in, and the counter charges the same every time.

What is clothing alterations?

Clothing alterations are changes to a finished garment so it fits or works better: shortening trousers or sleeves, taking seams in or letting them out, replacing zips and buttons, or mending tears. Unlike tailoring, the piece already exists. In the app, each of these is an item with a price and the number of days it takes, so ready dates work themselves out.

Is there a clothing alteration app for shops?

Yes. AQUORIA O.N.E works as your alteration shop's order book, counter screen and customer app in one. You log each piece with notes and a ready date, customers track it from a link, and you take payment by cash, PayNow QR or card online. It runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, so there's nothing to install.

Can customers book a dress alteration appointment?

Yes, if you switch on appointments. Add a service such as 'Fitting and pinning, 20 minutes', set your working hours, and customers pick a free time on your booking page. With your own SMS or email account connected, they get a reminder the day before, and nobody can book a time that's already taken. Walk-ins still go straight onto an order at the counter.

Do I need special clothing alterations software?

No special setup is needed. AQUORIA O.N.E runs in the browser, so the phone already at your counter is enough, with a tablet or computer if you prefer a bigger screen. Receipts and A4 invoices can be printed or sent as a link, and the first 14 days are free with no card needed.
